Tanisha is an Indian actress of Bengali–Marathi descent. Tanisha comes from a prominent industry family, which has been working in Bollywood since the 1940s. Tanisha Mukherjee was born on January 1st 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Before trying her luck in movies, Tanisha was a VJ for Channel [V] in 1995 and hosted a show called BPL Oye. Her first film was Sssshhhh with co-star Dino Morea. This movie was a big flop.
